Ivan Gallery is delighted to invite you to the opening of Lia Perjovschi’s first solo show in the gallery. “Timeline with witnesses” presents a chronology of events built by the juxtaposition of images, objects and text, a series of notes and key words developed by the artist, that shape a subjective history revealing her particular vision on the world.

Born on 11.04.1961 in Sibiu, Romania, Lia Perjovschi has studied at the National University of Arts Bucharest between 1987-1993. She currently lives in Bucharest and Sibiu.
Founder and coordinator of CAA /CAA (Contemporary Art Archive and Center for Art Analysis) an organic still in process project (under different names since 1985) and KM (Knowledge Museum – an interdisciplinary research project from 1999-today)
Her activity can be summarised as a journey from her body to the body of knowledge and was shown in more then 500 exhibitions, lectures, workshops around the world.

The exhibition can be visited until the 2nd of July 2016, Wednesday to Saturday, 11-19, Sunday and Monday by appointment.
